The Conditions of La Ilaha Illa Allah is a beneficial book, aimed to teach Muslims in detail what La Ilaha Illa Allah really means. It is a short and concise book, only 81 pages. The book is written by Sheikh 'Obaid ibn 'Abdullah ibn Sulaiman al-Jabiri. Personally, I highly recommend this book to anyone who is beginning to seek knowledge.

Inside the book, there is information about 7 conditions of La Ilaha Illa Allah, each explaining characteristics of a righteous Muslim, supported with stories of the Prophets (peace be upon them all), and verses from the Qur'an. I think this is a great way to explain how one should act as a Muslim.

A glimpse of the book

The first condition tells us about knowledge, the meaning of La Ilaha Illa Allah, negation and affirmation, and what one should know about believing in Allah (subhanahu wa ta'la) and the correct understanding of the religion.

A verse mentioned in the first condition tells us this:

"So know (O Muhammad ﷺ) that La Ilaha Illa Allah" (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah.)" (1)

And further into the book explains how La Ilaha Illa Allah truly means that there is no right to be worshipped but Allah alone (subhanahu wa ta'ala).

Some highlights of this book are:

1. Short but very beneficial read.

2. Explains correct belief of Allah and his Messengers (peace be upon them all).

3. Explains correct behavior of a Muslim.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I think this is a must-have for the beginner Muslim. It teaches important information that every Muslim should know, and how to act accordingly.

May Allah bless you, and shukran.
