Bismillāhir-Raḥmānir-Raḥīm

During the month of Ramaḍān, one should remain upright and steadfast in his character. This is very important as this is one of the etiquettes of the righteous Muslim. This article will, ʾIn shāʾ Allāh, inform you of the good characteristics a Muslim should have during Ramaḍān.

1. Having great remembrance of Allāh

The Muslim should always have high remembrance and obedience to Allāh as this increases his Īmān. Especially during Ramaḍān, this increases rewards.

2. Abundant Duʿā

Duʿā is an act of worship that contains high benefits, especially when done excessively.

3. Staying pure

Purification is one of the virtues of Islam, and is something that is beloved to Allāh (سبحانه و تعالى).

4. Leaving off Ḥarām

It is incumbent upon a Muslim to stay far away from Ḥarām actions, as if someone does Ḥarām actions, their Īmān decreases. Staying away from Ḥarām allows one to draw nearer to Allāh (سبحانه و تعالى).

5. Having good manners

Good manners is an important trait of a Muslim. It is something that brings great rewards especially during Ramaḍān.

I ask Allāh to allow us to complete Ramaḍān with good deeds, and make us of al-Muttaqūn.

May Allāh bless you, and shukran.
