Allah's Names

Bismillāhir-Raḥmānir-Raḥīm

A quick benefit and fact; Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) has 99 names, and all 99 names refer to what Allah is and what He is capable of, for example:

al-Qadir (The Capable, The Most Powerful)

This name of Allah tells us that Allah is capable of anything, and that He is The Most Powerful. Nothing can hurt Allah, Nothing can defeat Allah. Allah is the Ever Lasting.

al-Baqi (The Ever Lasting)

Allah is the Ever Lasting, meaning He will not die, and will last forever.

al-Alee (The Most High)

Allah is the Most High, meaning He is above the seven heavens above His Throne.

Another name of Allah we can take a look at is:

ar-Rahman (The Most Merciful)

This name also tells us that Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) is the most merciful and most compassionate. And speaking of compassionate, a name for Allah's love is:

al-Wadud (The Most Loving)

Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) is the most loving and most compassionate, and He gives all that is good, like His name:

al-Wahhaab (The Giver of Gifts)

All good that happens is due to Allah, Without Him, there would be no good and no life.

Conclusion

This is just a glimpse on the names of Allah. Of course I can't cover all of them, because Allah has 99 names, but I was at least able to cover some of them. I thank you very much for reading, and I hope you benefited from this Insha-Allah.

May Allah bless you, and shukran.
