Indeed, there isn't a doubt at all that Abū Bakr (رضي الله عنه) was one of the most noteworthy companions of the Prophet (ﷻ). He was the first one that the Prophet (ﷺ) mentioned that was promised Jannah, a great friend of the Prophet (ﷺ), and remained being loyal to him.
This concise, but beneficial article will inform you of statements in regards to him (رضي الله عنه):
‘Abdur-Raḥmān ibn ‘Awf (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
"Abū Bakr is in Paradise. ‘Umar is in Paradise. ʿUthmān is in Paradise. ‘Alī is in Paradise. Ṭalḥa is in Paradise. az-Zubayr is in Paradise. ‘Abdur-Raḥmān ibn ‘Awf is in Paradise. Sa’d is in Paradise. Sa'īd is in Paradise. Abū ‘Ubaidah ibn al-Jarrāḥ is in Paradise." (1)
Jābir ibn ʿAbdullāh (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
"Abū Bakr and ‘Umar are to this religion like the position of hearing and seeing are to the head." (2)
Abū Sa'īd al-Khudrī (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
"Indeed, the one who has favored me the most in companionship and with his money is Abū Bakr. If I were to take a khalīl (more than a friend, a best friend that a person can only have one of) other than my Lord, I would have taken Abū Bakr as a khalīl." (3)
Abū Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
"Who among you woke up this morning fasting?" Abū Bakr (رضي الله عنه) said, "I did." He (ﷺ) said, "Who among you followed a funeral procession today?" Abū Bakr (رضي الله عنه) said, "I did." He (ﷺ) said, "Who among you fed a poor person today?" Abū Bakr (رضي الله عنه) said, "I did." He (ﷺ) said, "Who among you visited a sick person today?" Abū Bakr (رضي الله عنه) said, "I did." So Allāh's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "These (actions) are not gathered together in one person except that he will enter Paradise." (4)
Jābir ibn ʿAbdullāh (رضي الله عنه) narrated:
"ʿUmar used to say, 'Abū Bakr is our master.'" (5)
I ask Allāh to allow us to act upon these beneficial statements, and that He may be pleased with Abū Bakr and all the other companions mentioned in the statements.
May Allāh bless you, and shukran.
